| Danielsen at ISU: 2002 ... Moving up the career ranks as one of the all-time great receivers in ISU history ... ranks second in Iowa State history in career receiving yards with 1,918, only 130 yards from the ISU record ... fifth all-time in number of career receptions, and tied for eighth in touchdown catches ... second Cyclone in history to record 1,000 receiving yards in a season, finishing with 1,073 (Tracy Henderson, 1983) ... led the receiving effort in the Humanitarian Bowl, catching four passes for 47 yards ... had three receptions for 52 yards against Connecticut ... caught seven passes for 73 yards and ran for 27 yards on two carries at Colorado ... led the Cyclones with 133 yards on eight catches at Kansas State ... it was his fourth 100-yard game of the season and the sixth of his career, behind Henderson (five in 1983; eight career, 1982-84) in both categories ... tied for eighth on the all-time ISU career charts with nine touchdown receptions ... had a career-high 152 receiving yards on eight catches against Missouri ... caught four passes for 55 yards at Texas and completed his first career pass, a throwback to Seneca Wallace for one yard in the third quarter .... only caught one pass against Texas Tech for 28 yards, but ran a reverse for a 79-yard touchdown in the third quarter ... it was the second of three consecutive touchdowns by ISU and gave the Cyclones a 17-10 lead ... caught a career-high nine receptions for 111 yards and a touchdown against Nebraska ... had eight catches against the Huskers at halftime ... caught three passes for 77 yards against Troy State, including a 54-yard touchdown ... had five receptions for a career-high 131 yards at Iowa ... had three receptions for 56 yards against Kansas and scored on a nine-yard reverse against the Jayhawks ... led all Cyclone receivers against Florida State, catching six passes for 96 yards ... hooked up with Wallace for a 37-yard play on third-and-11 from the ISU 4-yard line ... also gained 18 yards on third-and-17 from the FSU 39 to keep the final drive of the game going ... 2001 ... Selected as an honorable mention all-Big 12 pick by the league coaches ... blossomed into team’s leading receiver ... first-team academic all-Big 12 honoree ... earned ISU offensive MVP honors vs. Nebraska ...tallied five catches for 57 yards and had a 33-yard end-around versus Alabama in the Independence Bowl ... came up big against Iowa in regular-season finale with six receptions for 57 yards and the game’s first touchdown ... had three catches for 50 yards at Kansas, including a 6-yard TD from Seneca Wallace ... had four catches for 109 yards against Colorado, including a 51-yard TD snare in which he used a spin move against his Colorado defender and then dashed 45 yards for the end zone ... had five receptions for 61 yards against Kansas State ... was a major force at Ohio, the best game of his short career ... on Iowa State’s first play from scrimmage, he took a pitch on a reverse and dashed 32 yards ... also took a pitch from Wallace and raced for a 15-yard touchdown ... made a career-high seven receptions (after making five in all of 2000) for 110 yards against the Bobcats ... followed that performance with five catches for 92 yards and one touchdown against Baylor and led Cyclones with five receptions for 82 yards at Nebraska ... made six receptions for 71 yards at Texas A&M ... 2000 ...
