Switched to safety from running back before the start of two-a-days ... it was a fortuitous move, because starter Anthony Forrest went down with a hip pointer early in the Florida State game ... led ISU defensive backs with 97 tackles on the season (69 solo) .... made nine tackles in an auspicious effort against FSU ... led the Cyclone defense at Iowa, registering 11 tackles (seven solo) and recovering a Brad Banks third-quarter fumble ... made his mark on the defensive side of special teams ... blocked a first-quarter Troy State punt, which was returned for a touchdown ... made 13 tackles (eight solo) at Oklahoma, including one for loss ... had 10 tackles (nine solo) and an interception at Texas, the first of his career ... had seven solo stops at Kansas State ... also blocked a Wildcat extra point ... made 12 tackles, all solo, and returned a fumble 39 yards at Colorado ... made seven tackles (six solo) against Connecticut ... 2001 ... Carried the ball two times, gaining three yards vs. Alabama in the Independence Bowl ... against Colorado, had two rushes for 11 yards and made three catches for 24 yards ... rushed five times for 19 yards against Northern Iowa in season opener ... had 15 yards on four punt returns and 79 yards on six kickoff returns ... had six carries against Baylor and made a catch for five yards ... 2000 ...
