Gaines was named to the U.S. Army All-American Game, FSWA 3A All-State First Team and Mobile Press Register's Super Southeast 120.
Gaines played mostly offensive line as a junior where he graded out at close to 90 percent and had 48 pancake blocks. He had a pair of sacks in limited action on defense |
