| Dedrick committed site unseen to ISU, but he is not completely unfamiliar with the program. Former junior college and high school teammate, long snapper Matt Purvis plays at Iowa State.
Doug Dedrick: "I have talked to Matt, and he has nothing but good things to say. Coach says I can come in and compete for a starting job. They lose like seven guys, so I have a chance to come in and be a leader."
Dedrick describes himself as an intense player who shows good quickness, and the ability to stay on blocks.
He has not redshirted and has three years to play two at ISU.
Started all 10 games at right tackle for the Artichokes. |
