At Iowa State Vroman returns for his senior season as one of the better post players in the conference...has long arms and excellent post moves...can shoot with either hand...a relentless rebounder. (2002-03) Junior Named to Big 12 all-newcomer team and was an honorable mention all-Big 12 pick by the AP and coaches...ranked in the top five in the Big12 in three categories (rebounding, double-doubles and field goal percentage)...a tremendous rebounder, averaging a team-high 9.4 rebounds, which ranked fifth in the Big 12...his 9.4 rebounding average was the best ISU single-season clip since 1979...tallied 291 boards, ranking No. 12 on the ISU single-season rebounding list...averaged 12.5 points, second-best on the team...totaled a team-high 12 double-doubles (tying for fifth in the league) and had 14 double-digit rebounding efforts...second on the team in blocks (48) and steals (31)...his 48 blocks ranked sixth on the school single-season charts...led the team in field goal percentage (55.2 percent), ranking fourth in the league...averaged 15.3 points in his final eight games...averaged 11.5 rpg in his last nine games...tallied a double-double in his ISU debut, leading ISU in scoring (23) and rebounding (10) against Coe...had a monster game against Binghamton, scoring 23 points and grabbing 14 boards helping him earn all-tournament team honors at the Cyclone Challenge...contributed another double-double effort against Boston College, scoring 14 points and pulling down 12 rebounds...scored 13 points against Iowa, including 11 (4-5 FG, 3-4 FT) in the final 6:21 of the game with four fouls, including the game-winner with :20...notched 15 rebounds vs. Savannah State...earned Big 12 Rookie of the Week honors during the week of Dec. 8-15, averaging 11.6 ppg and 11.3 rpg...went 7-for-11 from the field, including three dunks, en route to 17 points against Northern Iowa...posted his fourth double-double of the season with 18 points and a career-high 16 boards vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff...was outstanding vs. Nebraska, recording 10 points, nine boards and eight blocks...his eight blocks ties for the second-best single-game blocked shot total in school history...scored 10 points and had 10 rebounds at Oklahoma State for his fifth career double-double...was 7-for-9 from the field and recorded his sixth double-double against Colorado, scoring 20 points and grabbing 10 rebounds...notched career bests in points (24), field goals (12) and field goal attempts (16) vs. Texas Tech...pulled down eight rebounds and blocked two shots in 40 minutes of play...recorded a double-double at Texas A&M, with 10 points and 10 rebounds...tied a career high with 16 rebounds vs. Kansas State, featuring five on the offensive end...also had three assists, a block and a steal vs. the Wildcats...tallied 16 points and 15 rebounds against Colorado...was a perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line...recorded his ninth double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds vs. Nebraska...also had four blocks to give him 12 blocks in two games vs. Nebraska...notched his fourth double-double in five games, and 10th of the season with 14 points and 15 rebounds against Missouri...had two steals and a career-high seven assists against the Tigers...had an outstanding Big 12 Tournament, averaging 18.5 points and 11.5 rebounds in the two games, tallying double-doubles in both games...posted 13 points and 11 rebounds vs. Texas A&M...tied a career high with 24 points (9-for-13) and had 12 boards vs
