A staple in ISU’s lineup, Homan gives ISU toughness and energy...a fierce competitor who can battle underneath and block shots...already one of the best shot-blockers in ISU history.
(2002-03) Sophomore
Started 29 games...first-team academic all-Big 12...averaged 7.5 ppg and 6.4 rpg, second-best rebounding average on the team...led the team and ranked fourth in the Big 12 in blocks with 58...his 58 blocks ranks third on ISU’s single-season charts...second on the team in double-doubles with three...registered four blocks, tying a career high, and had six points and five boards vs. Binghamton...had the best all-around game of his career when he set a career-high in points and rebounds against Boston College, pouring in a team-high 18 points, adding 11 rebounds, two blocks and an assist...tied a career-high with four blocks vs. Iowa...blocked four shots, scored 12 points and had eight offensive rebounds vs. Savannah State...had eight points, a team-high eight rebounds and two blocks vs. Northern Iowa...led ISU against Kansas, tallying his second career double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds...also had three blocks vs. the Jayhawks...led ISU in rebounds vs. Missouri, grabbing 10, including four on the offensive glass...was 4-for-7 from the floor en route to nine points vs. the Tigers...recorded his fourth four-block day against Nebraska...scored six points and blocked a career-high four shots at Oklahoma State...tallied eight points, seven boards and one block in 15 minutes of action vs. Baylor...scored 10 points and grabbed 10 rebounds at Kansas...scored eight points, had eight rebounds and blocked three shots against Colorado...scored 15 points on 6-for-8 shooting and pulled in seven rebounds against Missouri...scored 15 points and had nine rebounds vs. Texas A&M...had 13 points and eight boards vs. Kansas...scored 14 points (6-9 FG, 2-3 FT) and grabbed seven boards vs. Iowa in the NIT.

Experienced quality minutes in his rookie season...started nine games at the post...averaged 16.6 mpg, 3.6 ppg and 3.4 rpg...led the team in blocks with 40, breaking the ISU record for most blocks by a freshman...averaged 1.5 bpg in conference play...his 40 blocks ranks fifth on the Big 12 freshman blocked shot charts...tallied a block in 18 of the last 19 games...shot 86.6 percent (26-of-30) from the free-throw line against conference opponents...tallied three blocks and snared six rebounds vs. Savannah State...got his first start against Iowa...tallied six points and registered five caroms vs. Drake...recorded seven points on 3-of-5 shooting from the floor vs. Maryland-Eastern Shore...tallied five boards and two blocks vs. Colorado...tied a career-high with four blocks vs. Kansas...scored five points (2-2 FG, 1-2 FT) and grabbed four rebounds vs. Nebraska...tallied eight rebounds and four blocks against Texas A&M...scored four points, grabbed four rebounds and tallied a block in 11 minutes of action vs. Nebraska...poured in 11 points at Kansas, going 3-for-4 from the field and 5-for-5 from the free-throw line...also led ISU with five boards and two blocks...tallied nine points, five rebounds and one block against Oklahoma...scored nine points and garnered five rebounds against Texas...had four boards and three blocks vs. Missouri...earned ISU’s Mr. Hustle Award.
