Cyclones make offer to Missouri running back

The Iowa State football staff kicked off their 2011 recruiting season by hosting junior day and one player who left Ames very happy was St.Louis Chaminade (MO) College Prep's Rob Standard.

"I left with a scholarship offer from Iowa State and now I have two because Nebraska offered me a while back," said Standard. "The whole day was really great and I would say that I will definitely be considering Iowa State strongly."The 5-foot-10, 180-pound running back was the Missouri Class 5 Player of the Year last season after running for 2,821 yards on 400 carries and scoring 40 touchdowns...
