"I'm not sure if I would commit but Iowa State is definitely my leader right now," said Bush. "I'm just looking for a place that fits me and where I can have a good relationship with the coaches. I also want a place with a good education."
The 6-foot-2, 250-pound defensive end also has scholarship offers from Houston, New Mexico State, North Texas, and UTSA. He will be visiting Ames on the weekend of December 11th and says that one Iowa State assistant coach has been a huge factor in his recruitment. "I really like Coach Pope," said Bush.
"We've have been talking for a while and I would say we have a real good relationship. He tells that me that they really like my motor and that I could definitely help them. He's also told me about how they have three seniors who will be graduating."
Dartwan currently runs a 4.6 forty time and currently has 13 sacks on the season. He feels playing in the Big 12 would be like living out a dream. "It would really mean a lot because the Big 12 is the place to be," said Bush. "My father is really excited about me possibly going to Iowa State and playing in the Big 12 but my mome is a little more hesitant."
