Florida CB May Soon Follow Teammate

Ames may end up being the perfect place for a small-town kid from Florida, and the fact that one of his teammates recently committed to Iowa State can't hurt either.

Such is the case with North Marion standout and Reddick native Jermaine Thomas, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound cornerback who loves the surroundings in his hometown of 571 people. Thomas is also good friends with standout tailback Mike West, who committed to the Cyclones last week.
