The 5-foot-10, 196 outside linebacker added to his Cyclone offer when Tulane
recently offered and according to Jones he feels more could be on the way. "I was kind of surprised when Iowa State
offered and then I was really happy because it was the first offer I had received," he said. "But with the Tulane offer I see that as long as I keep working hard that more will likely come."
Justin says that he would like to at some point take a visit to Iowa State and definitely feels he has the game to play in the Big 12. "I feel like I bring a lot of speed," he said. "I'm able to get from sideline to sideline without any problem."
Jones says that he isn't sure about when he will make a decision but that this summer is critical for him. "I've been working out to get stronger and faster but mostly I'm just going to work to improve a few of my grades," he said. "I'm taking a few classes and just focusing on also improving my test scores."
Godby(FL) High School's Justin Jones talks to Iowa State assistant coach Wayne Bolt about every two weeks and likes what he has been hearing. "He's been telling me a lot about their program and he told me that I would fit perfectly in their program."
