After some concerns by the Cyclone Nation community about the lack of the Cyclone voice in central Iowa, Brent Blum and I took it upon ourselves to not let the ‘Clones fall on deaf ears. Starting August 27, we will debut a two hour sports show every Sunday on 1430 KASI from 10-12. And the best part is, it’s all Cyclones (with the occasional NASCAR rant). Nowhere else will the Cyclones be better represented. From guests to talk, to callers, we can’t wait to give ours and your favorite school a chance to be the big-dog over the airwaves.

We have a unique perspective on the Cyclone Nation. Although we recall the past of Iowa State sports, we realize that doesn’t have to be the norm. When Jamie Pollard first set foot on Ames he emphasized the need to change the Cyclone mindset. Instead of focusing on what we don’t have, we need to focus on what we do have. It is a fantastic time to be a Cyclone and there is nowhere to go but up. This show is going to emphasize new era of Iowa State athletics. It is a chance to listen to Cyclone players, coaches, analysts all with the goal of giving the listener the most complete and informational coverage possible for two hours a week.
