Henley Plans to Attend A&M Game

Rajon Henley

Rajon Henley is a 6-foot-1, 245 pound defensive lineman with four-star credentials.

Rajon Henley has been offered by: Texas Tech, Texas A&M, TCU, Oklahoma State, LSU, Utah, and Ole Miss. It hasn't been documented much but Iowa State is still very much a contender when it comes to landing Henley and he plans on attending the Iowa State-Texas A&M game this Saturday in College Station.

So far, Henley hasn't set a visit yet to Iowa State but said that he still might. He has already taken visits to Utah and Texas Tech.

"I was probably going to plan a visit but I got a call from a coach and he asked me to come to the game this weekend when they come to A&M," Henley said. "I haven't really looked into Iowa State that much. I haven't visited the school or anything but I'll have to look into it. I've heard a lot from the coach that's been recruiting me."

So far this season Henley has been fighting an elbow injury while his high school team, Ball High School has a 5-2 record. Henley has missed two games to the injury but thinks that everything is ok now.

"I'm looking forward to the playoffs," he said.

Being one of the top defensive linemen in the state of Texas, Henley is gathering a ton of attention from colleges.

"I'm just really trying to narrow it down," Henley said.

A lot of incoming freshmen look for immediate playing time but Henley isn't too concerned about hitting the field right away.

"Playing time matters but when I'm a freshman it wouldn't bother me to sit out or back up somebody," he said.

Henley plans to major on sports management when he gets to college.
