Coach Says Taiese Pledges to ISU

The 6-foot-6, 350-pound offensive tackle told AllCyclones.com on Sunday afternoon he loved his Iowa State visit over the weekend and was contemplating committing but wanted to talk it over with his family and coaching staff

Laney (JUCO) head coach John Beam told AllCyclones.com on Monday afternoon that offensive tackle Wendell Taiese has committed to Iowa State.

Taiese would be the 21st member of Iowa State's 2014 recruiting class.

The 6-foot-6, 350-pound offensive tackle told AllCyclones.com on Sunday afternoon he loved his Iowa State visit over the weekend and was contemplating committing but wanted to talk it over with his family and coaching staff.

According to Beam, Taiese has done just that.

The Cyclones now have four offensive line commits in the 2014 class, Taiese projecting as an offensive tackle, as does Kory Kodanko.

We'll have more on this development shortly.
